Resend

Send your organisation's email through your own Resend account, from an address on your domain. Resend's API keys can be limited to sending, and to one domain, which makes it the simplest provider to set up with the least access.

TL;DR

QuestionAnswer
What do I need?A Resend account with your domain added and verified.
Which key?An API key with sending access only, limited to your domain if you like.
Where does Plotwork send?https://api.resend.com/emails, with the key as a bearer token.
Anything special? No region and no other setting.

1. Verify the domain at Resend

  1. In the Resend dashboard, open Domains and add the domain you will send from. It must be the same domain you verified in Plotwork, such as acme.com.
  2. Publish the DNS records Resend shows for it: the DKIM record, and the SPF and MX records Resend uses for its return path.
  3. Wait until Resend shows the domain as verified.

2. Make a send-only API key

  1. In the Resend dashboard, open API Keys and create a key.
  2. Give it a name that says what it is for, such as Plotwork.
  3. Choose sending access, not full access. Where Resend offers it, limit the key to the domain you verified.
  4. Copy the key. Resend shows it once.

3. Fill in the connector
