Brevo
Send your organisation's email through your own Brevo account, from an address on your domain. Plotwork sends through Brevo's transactional email API.

1. Authenticate the domain at Brevo
- In Brevo, open the senders and domains settings and add your domain. It must be the same domain you verified in Plotwork, such as
acme.com. - Publish the DNS records Brevo shows: the Brevo code, DKIM, and a DMARC record if you do not have one.
- Wait until Brevo shows the domain as authenticated.
- Add the From address you will use as a sender, if Brevo asks for one.
2. Make an API key
- In Brevo, open the API key settings and create a new API key. An SMTP key does not work with the API.
- Give it a name that says what it is for, such as
Plotwork. - Copy the key. Brevo shows it once.
Brevo's API keys are not limited to sending, so keep this key for Plotwork alone and revoke it at Brevo if you remove the connector.
3. Fill in the connector

Then send a test from the Connectors tab.
If the test fails
| Answer | Likely cause |

| The provider did not accept the token | The key was revoked or mistyped, it is an SMTP key, or the account only accepts calls from listed IP addresses. |
| The provider refused the email | The domain is not authenticated at Brevo, or the From address is not an allowed sender. |
| The provider could not be reached | Brevo is down or slow. Try again later. |
